Documentaries for Change

This space is dedicated to our independent documentary projects, created from the fundamental belief that people are Earth’s greatest treasure.

Our work is an act of seeing. We are drawn to real stories of resilience, community, and social change, especially those often overlooked in the national conversation. Our aim is to create films that not only document struggle and injustice but illuminate the incredible capacity for human strength, compassion, and shared hope.

Alongside helping individuals and organisations share their stories; we also champion the stories of the people who build our world. By valuing their journeys, we value humanity itself.

PAINTED

As a portrait artist attempts to capture their essence on canvas, four Afro-Caribbean elders in Bradford share their extraordinary Windrush stories of rebuilding Britain, confronting racism, and finding resilience, revealing the layers of identity that define a generation.

The documentary is currently being entered into film festivals, and we’re exploring strategic ways to get it into schools and organisations to as a resource that will lead to embedded learning on the theme of racism, Windrush, prejudice.

The Sanctuary Seekers of Bradford

In a city often defined by debate, a retired train driver, a primary school worker, and a former refugee in Bradford offer a radically simple solution to the asylum crisis: practical compassion, finding that small acts of local kindness can overcome the biggest obstacles to a new life.

The documentary’s quality and relevance are proven: it has screened at BAFTA, BIFA, and Oscar-qualifying festivals, been used as a training resource for Bradford library staff, and is currently packaged as an educational resource for secondary schools by Schools of Sanctuary in Bradford.
